Big Cedar Lodge
Zach and I went to Big Cedar Lodge this weekend in Missouri for a little time away & had such a blast.. For anyone that hasn't been there its a beautiful place. The pictures don't do it any justice.

Playing
Yesterday madi had so much fun at a group play date & I did too, the moms in that group are great!
When we got home we went out and enjoyed the snow a little... Madison really enjoys it!

Humm ... well where do I start.
This weekend we had a blast. We went sledding, got ice cream with daddy, and had some just great relaxing time.
Yesterday was a huge play date for Madison and the house was a wreck when all was said and done. Madison and I also created a "red" basket filled full of red items (red popsicles, red Elmo, red apple..etc) to help Madison learn her colors.
Today was absolutely beautiful! We had a soft slow snow all day, it looked like everything was getting dusted with powdered sugar.. It was literally picturesque, I wish everyone I know was here to witness it. Good news is.. It's still snowing so it should a winter wonderland in the morning!

Friday night in Red Oak
Zach and I had our first date night in Red Oak last night. Some neighbors watched Madison and we were able to go get dinner.
So at 7:45pm dinner was over and I refused to go home before 8pm, so we went to Kmart (the only place to go).. At 8pm they turned the lights off & closed the doors!
We closed down the Kmart! Wow! So... We were home by 8:15pm!

Fresh bread!
Oh I almost forgot to post about my newest favorite thing! My mom got me a bread machine & I've been whipping up homemade bread all week! First was white sandwich bread, yesterday was French bread so I could make delicious garlic cheese bread!

It is actually such a gorgeous day out today, sunny & no wind! Perfect weather to play in the snow!
