Decorating

Well... I couldn't hold off any longer... Last night we decorated the house for Christmas!
I bet Zach tries to tackle the outside lights this weekend..
Having the house decorated definitely puts me in a great holiday mood.

Traveling & Snow!

Our flight did not leave until late last night... Madi was so tired & so was I!
She slept on the plane most of the time & slept the whole car ride home. I'm completely exhausted!

Ok! So it started snowing this morning around 9am. I had to go to Target to get groceries..so Madison and I were cruising around..listening to Christmas music, with a peppermint mocha, all in the snow!! It was awesome I have to say!

Thanksgiving

What a great Thanksgiving!!!
Thursday we flew into Fort Worth & met our family for a huge meal at Zach's grandmas.
Friday night Zach & I went out to the Gaylord to eat at the steakhouse & just to see all the awesome decorations.
My mom took me shopping & to get my nails done... OMG I miss that!! Greatness!
We did all sorts of outings during the weekend.. Cabelas, Starbucks, Barnes & Noble, and more!
I had so much fun coming back to Fort Worth and getting to see everyone!
Guess it's back to the remote country... & possibly our first blizzard Monday! Yikes!

Zoo time

I had to go into Omaha today to drop Lola off at the Kennel, since we are heading to Fort Worth for thanksgiving tomorrow, and while we were in town Madison & I went to the zoo.
Madison loved the aquarium.. We could have spent hours in there.

Country living

Well today I had two girls over for a play date with their kids. It was a lot of fun & my house was a disaster after the group got done with it.
We caught a mouse last night & Zach and I argued over who got to kill it. I don't want them in the house.. But I just can't finish them off when caught alive.. So Zach did the job!
Madi also got a lamp shade stuck on her this morning...so funny!

Zachs out chopping down trees. I'm sitting on the patio having coffee on a beautiful cool morning ( not hot.. Not cold). We've got a brisket in the smoker... Ahh this is the life!
