Weekend

We'll it was a beautiful weekend here in Iowa.
Saturday morning started with a delicious buttermilk pancake breakfast.. Then hanging Christmas lights outside & helping grandpa Jackson with harvesting activities.
Sunday..church & then a bonfire in our fire pit & just hanging out as a family.
Can't wait till next weekend!!!

Interesting Child

I have an interesting child...
She loves accessories, hats, glasses, jewelry ..
Oh this also was our attempt at a rocket spaceship.. To take her to the store to buy jewelry & toilet paper.. Apparently!

We carved a fun pumpkin man today.. Then had to clean up.. Stripping to undies was madi's idea.

Rainy Day

Making fall cookies & enjoying some of Madison's painting on a cool rainy day.
And YES that is a Christmas top on Madi.. She dressed herself! Don't judge me ;)

Leaves & Fun

Madi & I had fun yesterday raking piles of leaves and then jumping in them.
We also took a nice fall walk to look at all the colorful trees before coming home and making one of our favorite dinners..bubble pizza! Yumm!
