Here are some cute family photos we had done!

An Iowa 4th

We had a great 4th of July here in Iowa.

Zachs parents and sister (plus her husband) stayed with us for the long holiday.  My mom and her husband also stayed down the road with my grandpa.
We all had a blast playing family baseball game, grilling, fishing, sitting on the patio talking, shooting shotguns, walking in the corn, having bonfires, and attending the small town firework show.

Madison is sooo worn out from the long weekend of fun and visitors.

We already miss everyone that was here and cant wait for another fun farm weekend!

PS... I will add more photos when I have time to upload them to the computer!

What a mess

So... Madi figured out how to use the fridge today to get ice & water.
She just pulled her little stair step over & started filling up her cup.
Now I just have to get her to stop filling the cup with water when it's full...she causes quite a mess!

St Louis

Zach and I were able to go to St. Louis over the weekend to a work function for Zach.
It was a nice mommy & daddy get away, plus Zach got to attend the Texas Ranger/St.Louis Cardinals baseball game with his company.. What could be better!

A Beach.. In Iowa?

We found a Beach right in the middle of Iowa!
Its called Viking Lake.. We went today with a girlfriend of mine and her little boy.
The kids had so much fun.. The outing was not planned so we didn't have bathing suits packed, but luckily I did find sunscreen in my diaper bag!
All I know is I felt like I was on a beach vacation!

We will be going back soon... maybe this afternoon after naptime.. is that too soon? :)

Father's Day!

Today was an awesome Fathers Day! Zach woke up to coffee & to die for blueberry muffins & decorations!
Then off to church for a great sermon.."the most important thing a dad can do is bring home Jesus".
The off to Union Pacific Family day, for burgers, face painting, train rides & train tours!
It was a fun day!

Starting the week off right

We started this week off right!
First thing Monday Madi & I hit up the Omaha zoo with some friends.. As always, madi loved the fish & goats!
Tuesday we stayed at home all day, but played extremely hard..swimming, sidewalk chalk paint & bubbles!
Oh yeah! We also made the pioneer woman Mocha brownies Monday..basically plain brownies with an awesome powder sugar frosting that had coffee in it. Yummy!
