Parks, planting & painting

Well this was a busy week. It started off with a fun play date at the park for madi.
The weather here has been awesome for about 2 weeks..I haven't turned on my AC unit yet!
Zach & I finished planting all our seeds in the garden & began harvesting our radishes!
Zach & I also found out it was quite dangerous to paint our propane tanks black.. So I spent some time repainting them white.. Just glad it's all fixed!

Madi Vacation Fun

Madi had fun swimming; going to the zoo & park; playing at grandparents & friends house all while Zach & I were gone to NYC.
What a lucky girl!

Big Apple Baby!

Zach and I were so blessed to get a few days away by ourselves & go to New York.
We had fun running trails and reading books under the trees in Central Park; we gained weight eating 99 cent pizza & great food at our favorite NY dives.
It was just so needed to get the time away from the daily grind and time to bond.
Thank you everyone that took time to watch Madison while we were gone.. She was spoiled & had so much fun!

Summer

Well it's officially summer & we've been enjoying it.
Madi has had a great time swimming, playing in the garden (dirt), and enjoying the farm.
I feel extremely blessed this summer to be at home with my little one, watching her grow and enjoying every giggle.

Finally feeling nice

We've been outside constantly for the last three days as the weather has finally been nice.
Sunday we tilled our garden area, hope to have lots of fresh veggies soon.
Madi has had so much fun playing in the mud around the garden & outside lately.. Monday she even said "look mom.. The SUN!" Lets you know how drab it's been here.. Even a 2 year old notices!

Snow.. In May! Really!!!

I woke up to snow this morning!
I don't think I'm in Texas anymore.

Wedding, London & Coming Home

Audri's wedding was fun & I loved the cute hats!
Sunday I got to travel around a bit & see London. I even walked into London's Chinatown & got awesome Chinese food.
I also went to Kings Cross train station & tried to go to Hogwarts.. But apparently you need a train ticket (that's a joke for all you Harry Potter fans).
Luckily I was able to catch an earlier flight home Monday & I have loved every minute of being home . Today was a blast .. we had a play date for madi & her friends in our yard.. So nice to be back!
