Getting back to normal

Well.. This was our first normal week after all our visitors left & it was hard.
I truly missed our friends and family.
Madison was still her smiley self, like always...so that always makes the week easier.

Chickens & tires

We had a very productive weekend!
We started by attending the livestock auction Saturday morning, then Zach made Madison a tire swing & she loves it!
We are also restoring an old chicken coop on our property. Zach got pretty far this weekend. We found a nasty badger skeleton during the demo work.
Zach also feels we have succeeded as parents, as Madison asked to watch Duck Dynasty today.

Snow

We had so much fun in the snow yesterday!
Madison named our snowman "Yellow", haha!
We had a great day sledding & just playing.

Fun with nana & papa

Madi & Zach are having a great time with Nana & Papa.
We got snow today, we played out in tge snow a bit & are planning on more play tomorrow!
After a very busy day everyone is exhausted!

Party

Madi had a great little birthday dinner & cake!
Thanks everyone that gave & sent gifts!
After all the fun she was worn out!

2 years old

My sweet baby girl is 2 years old today! She growing up too fast!
I'll post some photos of her party after we have it ;) !

Big Cedar Lodge

Zach and I went to Big Cedar Lodge this weekend in Missouri for a little time away & had such a blast.. For anyone that hasn't been there its a beautiful place. The pictures don't do it any justice.
We also stopped in Kansas City on the way home to eat some good BBQ at the legendary Arthur Bryant's.. Umm so good.
