Roses are red...

Well this week was valentines & madi & I had so much fun.
We made cupcakes and delivered them to neighbors, made crafts & ate tons of sweets and chocolate.. Oh February how I love thee...
Now time for Zach and I to enjoy our heart shaped pizza & wine.. Happy valentines!

Home sweet .. Oh No!

Well we just got back from Fort Worth & I was ready to just get back put on my pjs & relax.. Our dogs had other plans for us..

Wow.. Madi and I have been in Fort Worth for just a short little visit and it's been so great to get away from the snow and into amazing weather!
We went to the stockshow, played with old friends and saw our family..
I truly miss Texas.

Snow play

Madison had so much fun yesterday playing in the snow! She even made a snow angel.
Today it was the coldest day we've had so far this winter! 6 degrees with a negative wind chill while I was out grocery shopping... Ugh! Madison and I did brave the cold though & went to eat lunch with daddy & go play at the children's museum, by the end of the morning she was out!
Tonight -18 degrees! Seriously!

Thankful

I saw this prayer on a daily bible devotional email I get & I loved it!

"Lord, Thank you for dirty clothes, muddy shoes, messy rooms, a dusty house, tired legs, aching knees & taxes. I thank you I have clothes, shoes, a room to make a mess in, a house to get dirty, legs that work, knees that bend, and a country in which I can pay taxes."

It makes me realize even in my troubles how truly blessed I am.
I'm blessed to have my family, a roof over our head, food on our table, our wonderful health & Gods grace.
Oh & snow!! Look at how pretty today is!

Crazy day

Well today was a random & crazy day.. Started off going into the city to get a few items I was unable to find at our little town grocery store. Then I proceeded to 4 different grocery stores to find mint & basil.. Seriously!! None had anything.
Then we were late for our play date & upon arrival we found out everyone else had "no showed" . As we were leaving I thought my little Madison smelled and sure enough we had a major blow out & no I didn't have any spare pants. Luckily a lady at the church said she happened to have some, however they were for a 3yr old.. So we tied them up with a ribbon & rolled them multiple times until they would work.
Then since I had about 20 minutes I ran to whole foods to grab my missing I ingredients..and success!
Then to lunch with daddy & some playing with trains.
Once home I began prepping dinner.. And I lost my train of thought and botched the whole meal.. Oh well! I've given up on today & will try for a fresh day tomorrow.
