Rainy Day

Leaves & Fun

Madi & I had fun yesterday raking piles of leaves and then jumping in them.
We also took a nice fall walk to look at all the colorful trees before coming home and making one of our favorite dinners..bubble pizza! Yumm!

Farm actives & Hunting

We've had a good week on the farm.
Monday we helped grandpa work on a few of his tractors and daddy treated us to pizza in town for dinner!
Tuesday we met our moms group in town & had a fun play date at church.
Wednesday play date with friends at our house & some awesome new cheesy chicken spaghetti for dinner.
Thursday bible study & hunting ducks with daddy.
Friday a fall candy party at the library.
I have no idea how we will top it next week!

Fun Sunday

We had a fun Sunday: church, Pizza Ranch, fall photo shoot at bass pro shop, organizing Christmas lights, & reading with daddy on the patio!

Dinner? Humm pasta or homemade tomato soup & grilled cheeses.. While watching a little Americas Funniest Home Videos!

Iowa Traditions

Last night we participated in two Iowa traditions: fried pork tenderloin sandwiches (I'm now a huge fan) & watching Iowa football in cold fall weather!

Another tradition... Zach's up duck hunting this morning.. We have frost on the ground & a hot pot of coffee on the farm, but he's out hoping to bring home duck for some stew!

Oh! We also have snow in the forecast for Tuesday! Ahh.. Iowa!

Off Track

Wow...I'm BACK! I have really let my blogging slip!
Let me see...
I got pregnant in July. I got very sick and basically felt up to doing nothing for months. It's no excuse to stop blogging, but it was honestly the last thing on my mind.
We find out the sex of the baby in November so I will keep everyone posted.
Other than the baby news, we've travelled to Texas once and are settling in here in Iowa for the upcoming holiday season and winter.
